Annual Report 2008
Launching the 2008 Annual Report, Paul Tetlaw, Chair of Transform Scotland, said:
'2008 was another very busy year for us and I hope that this report gives you a good flavour of the many and varied ways that we have promoted the sustainable transport agenda in Scotland.
'I appreciate that many of you are facing difficult times financially not helped at all by the near meltdown of our financial institutions. This crisis served to highlight the folly of many unsustainable practices in our financial world. In the tranport sector we currently suffer from many years of 'doing the wrong things' and as a consequence we have a transport system not fit for purpose for the 21st century and the many challenges that lie ahead.'
