Consultation on National Planning Framework 3

The Government’s planners are currently consulting on National Planning Framework 3 (NPF3). The NPF sets the overall framework for spatial planning in Scotland, and so is important in determining what we want Scotland to look like in the future. The Government has issued a call for Candidate National Developments, which ends on 14 December. We are intending to submit at least a couple of proposals. We would encourage members to submit their own using the link on the right, and we would be happy to provide advice on how to do so.

There will be later stages of consultation on NPF3 but the Government’s planners are keen to get organisations’ recommendations for consideration as early as possible in the process.
