Edinburgh's new generation trams arrive on Princes Street
Paul Tetlaw, Chair of Transform Scotland, said:
"We are delighted to see the first of Edinburgh's new generation trams arrive on Princes Street. This will allow the public to see for themselves just what a modern tram looks like and to experience the interior layout."I can only hope that this now puts a stop to much of the ill informed and negative comments that we have heard from elements of the media and the general public."I have no doubt that the Edinburgh tram system will be a great success as are the very many new systems that are opening up right across Continental Europe."
