If Gary Numan can do it then so can other drivers
Transform Scotland have welcomed the Scottish Government's 'Go Greener' campaign featuring Gary Numan.
Director Colin Howden said:
"We need to use many different ways to communicate the need to reduce reliance on the car. In the face of a continuing wave of car advertising, it's important that the message that the car is not always best be heard.
"Gary Numan is well-known for his liking for cars and planes – but if he now sees that the car is not always the best way to travel then that's good enough for us. I thought it was a bit mean of the Greens to attack the Government over what is clearly a well-intentioned effort."
