New plans for active travel, trams, and railways

Transform Scotland has today submitted its proposals for inclusion in the next national spatial plan for Scotland. Our aspirations for NPF3 are set out in a cover letter submitted today to the Scottish Government's planners.

Our 'Candidate National Development' proposals are on three topics:

• Scottish Inter-city Express Network proposal
• Edinburgh Tram Network proposal -- jointly submitted with The Cockburn Association
• Walking & Cycling National Infrastructure proposal -- supported by Cycling Scotland, Paths for All, Ramblers Scotland & Sustrans Scotland
