Newsletter: Car Clubs Review Update
By Siobhan ReardonLast year, The Transform Scotland Trust commissioned a review of the opportunities for car club development in Scotland - a project which came off the back of the car clubs conference which we hosted jointly with the City of Edinburgh Council in March 2009.
Consultant Chas Ball has been leading on the review which is funded by SEStran, TACTRAN, Co-operative Development Scotland and SPT; and supported by the Scottish Government, First ScotRail and HITRANS.
Following a number of stakeholder consultation events, held around the country culminating in a roundtable discussion at Victoria Quay in January of this year, we are currently finalising the report and plan to launch our key findings and recommendations in May this year.
