Response to Scottish Parliament Finance Committee
Transform Scotland have today submitted their response to the
Parliament's Finance Committee 'Budget Strategy Phase' inquiry.
Colin Howden, Director of Transform Scotland, said:
"It is important that the Scottish Government's budget plans protect
spending on low-cost measures that can cut carbon emissions and
deliver better public health through transport. If funding cuts need
to be found then these should fall on the Government's profligate and
unaffordable road-building programme."
