Why fly when it’s so much better on the train?
After the success of the ‘On Track for Business’ report published in November, we, along with East Coast, have published an interactive webpage and video highlighting key benefits of taking the train rather than the plane.
One interesting figure that the website highlights is the profit gained from productivity on the train, calculating that over £200 is saved on the train compared to the plane. As the website highlights, this more than makes up for the price difference between a standard and first class ticket!
The video, apart from the facts and figures, also shows the key comfort benefits of taking the train: more leg room, free Wi-Fi in first class, and meals on board, not to mention less time spent queuing and waiting in an airport.
